Sienna Miller, former “it” girl fashion icon (how quickly they come and go) and actress is now also a designer too. See above wearing a piece from her “twenty8twelve” collection, I can only imagine what Miss. Miller has in store. So far, we have a black tunic with a beaded/embroidered faux fanny pack attached. Genius! Perhaps she will amaze us with her design prowess and bring back stirrup pants, but this time, in gold spandex.

Ugh…I don’t know, I’m just not all that impressed by celebrity designers anymore. Sure, SJP’s line “Bitten” is nice and affordable, but its a little bland, and Mblem by Mandy Moore is equally snooze-worthy. It used to be a silly thing for “has been” celebrities to do, like Cheryl Ladd and Kathy Ireland. Now, if you have already cut a record, made some movies, been on television and created a fragrance, it seems like the next step is designing clothes.

However, there are a few celebs out there that seem to have it together and I wouldn’t mind seeing design a line of their own. My dream celeb designer would have to be Reese Witherspoon. For one, the woman is always immaculately turned out. You would never see Reese running to Ralphs in a pair of pajama pants and slippers or wearing a bra as a shirt. Reese knows that it isn’t ladylike to show your bits and pieces to the paparazzi.

Just look at her for crying out loud! Cute shoes, cute and practical bag, minimal jewelry (but what she does wear is FAB) and casual stylish clothes and shades. I’m going to copy this outfit immediately.

In my dream world, Reese would design a line for Anthropology called ” ‘Spoon ” and it would all be made of modal cotton and fit perfectly. There, I said it.

So, I guess my question is, who is your dream celeb designer? Feel free to give their line an equally cheeky name…can’t wait to hear what you come up with!
