Okay, so I know that I already touted the importance of adding a little color to your wardrobe this spring (orange!) but you can’t shake down a cute purple dress either. That darn Miley Cyrus was just too cute and fresh faced in her purple sun dress, cowboy boots and giant leather bag…she’s on to something, I think.
Unlike orange (which may quickly fade in popularity) purple is a timeless standard and can be recycled easily for summer and fall. Purple is office appropriate, and also great for a day at the beach, and is way cooler than pink. Purple is also easy to pull off, as long as you match the right shade to your skin tone (if your fair, go with lavender, if you are dark skinned, then plum…you get the idea).
I have been obsessing over this Ballerina dress from Shabby Apple for the last few weeks…oh, yes, it will be mine:

Or, if something a little more daring and Mischa Barton-esque is up your alley, then check out this super cute spring number from Kahri:
Kahri Hibiscus Tank Dress, $80.00Â
Make purple a must for your spring shopping list…flirty, feminine and oh-so versatile, a purple dress is a serious must this season for any fashionista.

Omg I love purple! In fact I’ve been in a total purple love phase for a couple years now. The shade of purple that Mischa’s wearing is so hot right now!
