Pop megastar Beyoncé Knowles has revealed to L.A. Confidential Magazine that husband Jay-Z is the only man she’s been in a serious relationship with. She dated the rapper from 2002 until 2008, when the pair married.
She credits the long relationship with helping create a strong marriage, telling L.A. Confidential, “We were together for a really long time before we got married; we were in no rush.”
Knowles also recently acknowledged that she is planning a 2009 world tour, to begin later this month in Canada. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, she said that the tour includes dates in the U.K., Ethiopia, Japan, Brazil, and the U.S. During the tour, Knowles will be accompanied at each show by the same all-female band that backed her in her 2007 tour.
