Miley Cyrus won Favorite Female Singer at the 22nd annual Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards. Other winners at the Hollywood event were Vanessa Hudgens (Favorite Female Movie Star) and Will Smith (Favorite Male Movie Star).

Miley, star of the television show Hannah Montana, let a few tears fall as she accepted her award, and said, “I really thought I was going to lose. Unlike any other awards show, it’s all because of you guys, so thank you guys so much.” She was wearing a white strapless tiered white dress, and had new highlights in her hair.

Miley also has another big show coming up. After performing a country number with Taylor Swift at the Grammy Awards, she will have a solo performance at the 44th Academy of Country Music awards on Sunday, April 5. For the ACM Awards, Miley, age 16, will perform her hit song “The Climb” from the soundtrack of Hannah Montana: The Movie. The song is a hit both on the Billboard Hot 100 and the country music charts.
