Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Lohan

The families of both actress Lindsay Lohan and DJ Samantha Ronson confirm that the two have split from each other – at least for the time being. Ronson’s sister and mother were seen at a police station in Beverly Hills. Police would not confirm their reasons for being there, but Us magazine is reporting that they were finding out how to get a restraining order against Lohan.

Over the weekend, Lohan was banned from a party for Sam’s sister, Designer Charlotte Ronson. Ronson has also changed the locks on her house, and family members have expressed hope that the split is permanent.

Lohan’s family expressed similar sentiments, with Lohan’s father Michael Lohan remarking to ABCNews.com that their relationship had become “very toxic.” People magazine reports that Lohan, 22, has had a rough week so far.

But Lohan has her work to think about to keep her busy for the time being. Her new line of spray-on tanning lotion, Sevin Nyne, will debut on Sephora.com this month.
