Beckham is reportedly taking acting lessons to convince movie producers that she’s more than just a famous face. If she feels confident enough with her progress as an acting student, she wants to start auditioning for parts. The Sex and the City sequel will start filming in late summer, and is scheduled to be released in 2010.

Beckham has not remarked in public about her acting ambitions, partly because she’s been out of the spotlight for the past couple of weeks. According to a report in The Daily Mail, she has been keeping to herself because of a recent bout with acne. Beckham was photographed in Beverly Hills last week wearing tiny denim cut-offs – perhaps, some speculate, in a bid to distract attention from her skin problems.
