Sienna Miller
Actress Sienna Miller recently told Vogue magazine that she is excited and terrified about her upcoming role on Broadway. Miller, 27, was born in New York, but grew up in the UK. Now she returns to New York to play the title role in a production of After Miss Julie. The entire cast only has three people, Miller, Lee Miller (no relation, but good friends with Sienna’s ex boyfriend Jude Law), and a third role to be announced.
Later this year she will begin rehearsals for the play, which is set to open in September at the Roundabout Theater’s American Airlines Theatre on 42 Street. Lee Miller, 36, is known for his role in the movie Trainspotting as “Sick Boy.” He will play the valet of Sienna’s character Miss Julie in After Miss Julie.
The play concerns class, sex, and power in 1945 Britain as the Labour Government was about to be elected to victory.
Miller has also dropped the price of her house in London after five months with no buyer. While her two-bedroom house in Paddington started out for sale at 1.295, it has now been reduced to 995,000. Unfortunately, she bought the house at the tip of the property price boom in 2007, and now faces a loss even if the house finds a buyer at the new price.
