Megan Fox, Hollywood’s current flavor of the week, does not see eye to eye with her director in the movies “Transformers” and “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.” She said to Entertainment Weekly that Bay relied “on special effects rather than the acting in the two “Transformers” films.”

Bay’s reaction? Grow up.

He has also said that “Nobody in the world knew about Megan Fox until I found her and put her in ‘Transformers.’”

Fox is more of the opinion that her sexiness and looks are what got her started in 2007 in the original “Transformers” role, and that now she’s getting to do what she set out to do, which is to become an actress.

While Fox admits that movies like the “Transformers” franchise are aimed at young men, she has no trouble catering to their tastes. “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” opens with Fox as Mikaela, filmed from behind on a motorcycle in short shorts and boots.

Bay’s reasoning was, “We got that first shot out of the way, just to get it out for the young boys … and moved on.”

Fox says that the popularity of the first “Transformers” movie meant she could get parts that she otherwise couldn’t have. She is scheduled to star with Josh Brolin and John Malkovich in “Jonah Hex,” a sci-fi western, and she is also headlining “Jennifer’s Body,” which is a supernatural comedy written by Diablo Cody, the Oscar-winning screenwriter of the movie “Juno.”
