At the MTV Teen Choice Awards Sunday night, Ashley Greene, one of the stars of the Twilight movie franchise spoke of the “amazing” photography and directing that she says results in a movie that “is going to be gorgeous.” The cast and crew filmed for a few days in a small Italian village for a scene that involves Kristen Stewart’s character running through a throng of red-robed people to stop Edward, Robert Pattinson’s character, from stepping into the sunlight. “It was a great experience, amazing energy,” she told MTV.
Twilight was nominated for 12 Teen Choice Awards, and it won 11 of them, including: Choice Drama; Choice Romance; Choice Lip Lock; Choice Rumble; Choice Soundtrack; Choice Drama Actress (Kristen Stewart); Choice Hottie (Robert Pattinson); Choice Drama Actor (Robert Pattinson); Choice Villain (Cam Gigandet); Choice Fresh Face Female (Ashley Greene); and Fresh Face Male (Taylor Lautner).
The MTV Teen Choice Awards marked the first time 22-year-old Ashley had been nominated for an award by herself. She told MTV, “I got the phone call, and I was like, ‘Are you serious?’ It’s exciting.”
Teens everywhere are waiting impatiently for the next installment in the Twilight series, New Moon, which will be released in November.
