Jewelry Obsession: Wrap Rings

Wrap Rings

Statement jewelry is big this winter. Women have put away their small, delicate chains and bracelets and brought out the pieces that people notice, and wrap rings are a perfect example of statement jewelry for the hand. These complex, eye-catching rings go the extra mile in decorating your fingers.

One perfect example is this silver metal wrap ring by Freedom at Topshop. With black enamel and crystal stone detailing, this ring looks dressy and confident, and goes great with your more serious work clothes, or with dressy outfits you’d wear on a date.

If you want a big variety of wrap rings to choose from, then Shopstyle.com has loads of them, like the Janna Conner gold large pear wire wrapped golden shadow Swarovski ring. In gold plate with a gorgeous caramel colored Swarovski crystal, you’ll wear this with jeans, with a suit, or out to dinner. The oversized ASOS Smooth Wrap-around Metal Ring has simpler design, but is just as stunning.

The Oasis Stone Wrap Look Ring is about as close as you can get to a little tiara for your hands. The swirled wrap style is very flattering to most hands, lengthening the fingers and giving a classy, elegant look.

If you’re loving your bomber jacket or studded boots this winter (and who wouldn’t?) you’ll find that this sterling silver dragon that slithers up your finger a striking addition to a slightly “tough-girl” look. Designed by John Hardy, this ring is for the woman who wants to make a statement of unapologetic up-to-the-minute style.

If you want to add a little star power to your accessories, this Blu Bijoux Star Ring is perfect. Made with shimmery Austrian crystals on silver plate, this fabulous ring is one that your friends will all wish they had first.

These rings are such a great idea and I myself am certainly a person who likes to wear things that make a statement rather than just fading into the background.

  3. Chelsey Barnes says:

Big chunky jewelry is what is hot right now. With the economy being not so great people are buying accessories to add details to their already existing appearl. Rings like these one are becoming more and more popular.
