Real ‘Runaways’ Laud Stewart, Fanning
Joan Jett, executive producer of film The Runaways starring Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning, was a regular on the set of the movie, as was bandmate Cherie Currie, (Fanning). Jett and Stewart struck up a friendship, and Stewart told the LA Times that she "would have felt like such a fraud" had she played the part of Joan Jett without Jett's input.
