According to a “source” for the New York Post, Lindsay Lohan pitched a hissy fit at a New York City club over the weekend, throwing a drink on a model and accusing the model’s date, New York Ranger Aaron Voros, of being an ex-boyfriend. Voros denied knowing Lohan, which prompted the drink-throwing incident.

Voros’ girlfriend was the one who received the drink in this unorthodox manner because, apparently, she, Voros, and Voros teammate Sean Avery were seated at a “good” table at a club called “club 10ak.” Lohan wanted his table, because it was near the DJ, and she didn’t want to join Voros and company in order to do so. It was at that point that Lohan alleged that Voros was her ex-boyfriend and she didn’t want to be near him. She stopped short of accusing Voros of having cooties.

The bouncers refused to accede to Lohan’s demand that the entire table be moved out, and Lohan left soon afterwards. Another club goer described the scene as “total drama for absolutely no reason.”

In her defense, Lohan was coming off a difficult week, having been dropped from her latest acting gig in the movie The Other Side. The movie, directed by David Michaels, stars Woody Harrelson, Alanis Morissette, Dave Matthews, and Giovanni Ribisi, and financial backers recently decided that Lohan was “not bankable.”
