In the latest celeb news, Canadian rocker Avril Lavigne recently told Now magazine how she gets her long, flowing hair to look so gorgeous, crediting every-other-day washing, and long conditioning treatments. She recommends washing only every day, and leaving in conditioner for an hour before rinsing.

The noted music and fashion star recently launched a new fragrance called Forbidden Rose, calling it the perfect fragrance for young women. The scent’s tag line, “Dare to Discover,” Lavigne says, “resembles me and where I’m at style-wise.”

She also shares this celebrity fashion style tip for getting into shoes that are hard to put on: covering feet in body lotion. She was given the tip during a photo shoot, and says that she does this on and off the set when putting on high heels  that can be difficult to get into.
