Among couture fashion designers, Jean Paul Gaultier is a favorite of singer and actress Jessica Simpson because they emphasize her hourglass figure. Simpson, 30, recently told Lucky magazine, “I’m a huge Jean Paul Gaultier fan. His pieces make my waist look good.”

Simpson also says that though she likes clothes that hug her figure, she goes against the fashion industry a little when it comes to skinny jeans, saying she likes them slightly baggy and lower on the hips.

Though the public seems to notice every time Simpson gains or loses weight, she says she’s finally accepted her womanly curves, partly as a result of her television show “The Price of Beauty.”
