Actresses and fashion designers Ashley and Mary Kate Olsen have told Harper’s Bazaar magazine that they would like to design a dress for First Lady Michelle Obama. The 24-year-old television and fashion stars have three fashion lines, their top-end line The Row, mid-range line Elizabeth + James, and department story line Olsenboye, which is sold at JC Penney.

“I’d love to get Michelle Obama in The Row. The simple suits and things. It’s all made in America, so why not?” said Ashley.

Victoria Beckham, the former pop singer who is now a designer in the fashion industry has also expressed interest in designing a dress for Mrs. Obama. Beckham says that the bottom line for flattering women’s figures is “about creating an illusion and having a great cut.”
