Actress Emma Watson is designing a line of young ladies fashions for fair trade label People Tree. The collection will debut September 12 in the company of no less than the Prince of Wales. The Prince’s “Garden Party to Make a Difference” will take place at the Friary Court of St. James’ Palace, London, and lasts for 12 days, featuring comic and musical performances.
Watson has appeared in ad campaigns for British fashion designers Burberry, and says she looked to her own wardrobe for her People Tree collection. For young women, the line includes “cotton vests, easy T-shirt dresses, nice scarves to accessorise with and some lovely linen pieces.”
