In the latest fashion news, Emma Watson, young star of the Harry Potter movies and freshman at Brown University, was recently named Britain’s Best Dressed Female, winning out over competition like Kate Moss and Cheryl Cole. Watson says she likes to be original and doesn’t follow the crowds.

Watson told Mexico’s Seventeen magazine, “I don’t follow trends much, because I don’t like to dress like everybody else.” Watson’s advice for choosing what to wear was simple: “If what you’re not feeling what you’re wearing or if you’re not sure, don’t wear it.” She also claims that despite appearing in fashion ad campaigns by fashion designers like Burberry, she has experienced her own fashion disasters, including air blowing her skirts up, and “bad spray tans.”
