Kate Hudson recently attended Elle magazine’s Women in Hollywood gala, discovering once she arrived that she and mother Goldie Hawn had both chosen the same fashion style: one-shoulder dresses. Hudson wore a black dress by up-and-coming fashion industry darling Prabal Gurung, with Hawn wearing a white dress by Gianfranco Ferre.

Bellamy attended as Kate’s date, during the event in which Kate was honored. Reports are that the two held hands and were obviously very smitten with each other. Bellamy is the lead singer for the band Muse. Numerous other celebrities attended the event, including Gwyneth Paltrow and fashion stylist to the stars Rachel Zoe, who is expecting her first child.
