Television and emerging fashion star Blake Lively says she was “wildly intimidated” by meeting Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld because of his iconic status in the fashion industry. Lively told website fashionista.com, “He’s such a genius, but the moment you meet him, he doesn’t try to intimidate you. He’s so kind and humble and alive and passionate.”

She has also made a personal decision not to work on any campaigns except for Chanel. At the time of the interview she was hoping to see his collection before Chanel’s showing at Paris Fashion Week. But Chanel is not the only designer who loves Lively’s fashion style. She recently had a fitting with Christian Louboutin himself at his boutique in Paris, where he had a shoe, “The Blake” named for her.
