It seems like Erin Fetherston is now willing to take some risks this season. First, she’s booked Alexandra McDermott, a 17-year old soon-to-be pop star, as her look-book model. Secondly, she has also experimented a bit with her label’s spring lineup in New York Fashion Week 2013. You can easily witness the excessive use of a lot of hardware that the designer has used to balance out the froth and lighter-than-air fabrics. There were several mini-dresses and maxi gowns in this collection – mini-dresses have received the body-con treatment, whereas those gowns are contrasted with leather-like bodices. She has interpreted different styles in her own special way – she has designed a beautiful pink leather jacket perfectly decorated with silver floral grommets to represent moto chic.  Though the prints were unique, they were still quite edgy. The collection’s winning look was also quite unique with a slouchy pantsuit combined with a nude pink hue – its lime green trimming was simply outstanding.
