Camilla Belle
At the debut of the futuristic dystopian flick 2012, Camilla bravely donned an Alexander McQueen creation from his Spring 2010 collection, which premiered in Paris a few weeks ago. The entire Alexander McQueen collection featured a futuristic look and reptilian themed prints.
Belle’s dress was a short dress with a puff-ball skirt and gem trim on the sleeves. She wisely accessorized this attention-grabber of a dress with a minimal theme in mind. A simple, bangle, plain earrings, and nude platform heels ensured that accessories would not compete with the dress. It would be easy to overdo it with chains or diamonds or “look-at-me” shoes.
Also in attendance at the movie premiere was American Idol season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert. The soundtrack to the movie features his song “Time for Miracles.” Critics describe the song as “perfect” for the movie in which the world faces a huge cataclysmic event and those left have to fight for survival.
Written by Roland Emmerich and Harald Kloser, the movie’s cast includes John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Thandie Newton. Woody Harrelson and Danny Glover are also included in the cast of thousands. The film premiered November 4 in Los Angleles. This week it is scheduled for release in Belgium, France, and the UK.

Christopher Kane’s runway look is now available to anyone who has access to TopShop, thanks to a daring and edgy collection that has the fashion world abuzz.

Kane’s much anticipated line for TopShop went on sale September 18, and enthusiastic shoppers have raved about the pieces, which are sexy and feminine without being innocent looking or “girly,” as can be seen in the one shoulder lace dress pictured.

As you can see, they’re both quite snugly fitted, so be prepared. One of the most popular pieces in the collection is the “alligator print” dress you see below. There’s nothing subtle or demure about it, meaning you will be looked at if you wear this.

Even the undergarments make a fearless style statement as you can see in the high-waisted, grommeted panties pictured above.

And if you need a handbag to go with the panties, or just to look edgy yet frankly feminine, check out the studded, fringed, chain handled bag pictured above.

And where would your outfit be without these shoes, perfectly coordinated with every look pictured here, including the eye-grabbing mini-dress pictured below.

It’s no wonder this collection is all the rage, both in TopShop’s London home and in New York.

It’s easy to look like a star these days. Just a little right hair and make-up here, and the right outfit there. Before your know it, you a sporting a look that could be as good as any star out there today! So I am always on the lookout for that fashionable celebrity look for less! Yes it does not have to be expensive or exactly the same. As long as it shows a similar trend and technique, that is what counts! Now I chose Anne Hathaway looking quite dapper at her red carpet event. She was dressed to impress in this very cute gold Marchesa dress, where she made an appearance at the Shakespeare in the Park’s ‘Twelfth Night’ Premiere in New York City.
Now here is how I recreated that style!

Top Shop’s Scallop Skirt Dress in lemon has that same feel and design just like Anne’s dress. And for $135.00, it is a far less cry for a girl on the cheap!
Go for the gold strappy sandal when you want to repeat that look or style like Anne’s. Here is a great gold high heel from Top Shop’s shoe collection. For $145 it is a real steal!

Alfred Angelo has a wonderful collection of rental gowns and dresses to choose from
Something old, new, borrowed and blue – that is the wedding tradition – but this wedding season getting something new may be a struggle. According to industry research firm IBISWorld, spending on rented bridal gowns is expected to grow 7.5 percent to $43 million – up from $40 million in 2008.
With brides renting dresses, sales of new wedding gowns are expected to decrease 2.8 percent this year, reaching just $973 million. While the decline is not as steep as the 4.2 percent drop experienced in 2008, the industry has seen declines since 2001. Brides who do purchase a dress will more likely buy their garments in high-end department stores, formal clothing stores, or online – like PreOwnedWedddingDress.com – opposed to a bridal store.
The one thing couples will not be renting this year is wedding planners. Compared to 2008, the amount spent on wedding planners is expected to drop 4.2 percent to $785 million. In fact, the average cost of a wedding is expected to drop eight percent in 2009 to just $20,000 – in 2007 the average was $30,000.
“The recession is expected to exacerbate the already declining marriage rate, as couples put off the ‘big day’ until the time is right financially,” explained Toon van Beeck, senior analyst with IBISWorld. “Spending will undoubtedly be impacted by such postponements, and these cost cutting measures will start from the purchase of an engagement ring, all the way to the end of the honeymoon.”

Celebrity or not there is no question the impact a great scarf has to add to your look! If you are anything like Tiffany Thornton, star of Disney’s hit show “Sonny with a Chance”. You too can be spotted wearing this very colorful and silky Erge summer scarf. She was spotted at the Time for Heroes Celebrity Carnival benefiting the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Her choice of scarf is very hot this season.
Donning a flirty, strapless, black dress, Tiffany added the light-weight accessory proving that scarves are not just a warm weather essential. Highlighting her glowing summer skin, Tiffany opted for the neutral “husk” color blend in the animal floral motif.
If you love the line you can choose from a variety of different colors, including pink, light blues, purples, and greens.
This look will also match quite perfectly dressed up or down with jeans and a tee. Being the perfect summer accessory that you can add to your fashionable looks! Pick up yours for just $26 at www.Nordstrom.com.

Ok so you have some really great outfits. And summer is here, and more than anything you really want to wear them! But there is only one problem…
They are mostly see-thru! So to avoid those embarrassing ‘peek a boo’ moments, try to conceal them. Yes this may sound tricky, but all the stars are doing it! And so can you. Bristol 6 has a great selection of pasties to use that cover up your most ‘delicate’ parts. Aptly named ‘Nippies‘, go for a really natural look and dare to wear your favorite white tee. Try their Nippies Natural, an ultra thin matt silicone that blends seamlessly into skin. This offers great coverage under tees, tanks, and dresses.
Or if you intend on going swimming a lot this summer. They also offer waterproof Nippies to wear under your swimsuit or bikini top. Though if you wanted to be sexy, you could just wear them alone…
Or for the blushing bride, they have their exclusive and sparkling Nippies, which easily functions under any wedding gown for the ultimate coverage.
