October 29 marked the launch date of celebrity makeup artist  Mally Roncal’s new fragrance, Mally.

Mally Roncal, makeup artist to celebrities like Heidi Klum, is expanding the Mally Beauty collection into the world of fragrance with this modern floral citrus scent with a slight tropical note. The Sampaguita flower is the national flower of the Philippines, and its scent is similar to jasmine, yet slightly more tropical and exotic. The name translates to “I promise you,” and it symbolizes purity, strength, devotion, dedication, and fidelity.

Says Mally, “Beauty isn’t just about color cosmetics and covering up a blemish. I wanted to create a scent that embodies who I
am…something fresh and feminine that makes you feel joyful and invigorated.” Other top notes in the fragrance include Mandarin, red currant, bamboo, and palm leaf. The middle notes are composed of freesia, jasmine, muguet, and peony, and underlying it all are the base notes of peach, coconut, sandalwood, and musk. So how did this luxury line fair up with its earthy, citrus and floral scents? The L’Eau de L’Eau was a keen favorite of mine. With a clean and fresh scent, it would sure go over well past my nose. Lest any judges. Also the L?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢Eau des Hesp?ɬ©rides, was just spectacular. Airing different floral notes that jumped around in pure divinity. As one might say. Of course the trinity series, including the L?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢Eau de N?ɬ©roli. Which bounces with citrus notes, are quite the sure takers this year when it comes to a fantastic fragrance that goes the distance. Bravo!

We have all been waiting for the next hit from the Bond franchise! That debonair 007 and his latest flick Quantum of Solace hits theaters this Friday November 14th.
