I love the fall! As it is a really fun time to get your hats on! Now if you already have a nice selection of hats. Then it won’t be too much for you to add a few more hats to your collection. Or if you don’t have any at all for the season change. I have made some wonderful suggestions for you. From the top we have the classic Burberry hat. In their classic signature check pattern which retails at $146.25. You can buy this classic British hat from any of your local Nordstrom, Saks or Nieman Marcus locations. Or even specialty designer boutiques will carry most designer lines such as Burberry. Remember to add that classic Burberry scarf to the mix! Two of of my other choices are both hats from the Juicy Couture collection. Again very functional and fun, these hats are affordable and also look great. Go for the classic wool beret which a nice bow detail. Or stay casual with their skull caps, which are a designer bargain at only $55.00. Match that up with their scarves and gloves. You will be looking Juicy Couture in no time. And to finish this round of hats. I chose Missoni as my last pick. Fun, functional and always colorful. A Missoni Intarsia-patterned hat in knit wool blend, will fit the ticket for all you colorful fashionistas out there.

Europe’s Autumn Girl Accessories For Fall: Handbags, Shoes, Jewelry & Gloves

Posted on 19 August 2008 by Jacqueline H

Yes Fall is just around the corner. Alas if we are lucky we will have a glimpse of an Indian summer breaking into September up into early October. But still as the seasons change so does our wardrobe. I always feel a tang bit sad when fall comes around. The leaves start falling, awaiting the colder months ahead. But, I do love the colors of autumn. Which are rich in bold reds, sienna browns, yellows, and greens. These are the colors we can gain inspiration from! Even lilacs and lavenders, and blues are pushing forth their awesome colors. In the jewelry and accessories department. But what has Europe got going on in the fall department? Let’s find out!

THE FALL SHOE

High Boots

Knee-high or over-the-knee styles are best paired with mini lengths and go great with wool mini skirts. These long boots will take lightweight dresses into winter. And the Soft suede styles in the palest of hues are the feminine choice of the season.

THE FALL HANDBAG

Baby Bags

Wheter it’s Perspex boxes, pompoms, or frilled leather purses. The more fanciful your bag, the better! Don’t reserve these handbags just for evening outings – these little gems deserve to be displayed all day!

THE FALL JEWELRY & GLOVES

Costume Jewelry

From chunky wooden beads, giant Deco cuffs, and bold neck pieces… Jewelry comes super-sized! As long as it makes an impact, anything goes.

Gloves

Experiment with bold colors or try glossy black leather. The perfect glove length? Ending halfway up the forearm.

How-to Wear Hats, Cold Weather Accessories

Posted on 06 January 2008 by Angelique

Celebs are taking the opportunity to don hats this winter season, and their flair for accessorizing has me green with envy. Here in the south, my noggin doesn’t have much use for a warm winter hat, but these looks have me yearning for one just the same. Anyway, if you find yourself in cool climates this winter, check out this useful how-to wear hats guide and find out which cold weather accessories suit you best:

1) Knitted Beret:

Got a short ‘do to keep under wraps? Want to hide a hideous haircut? Then a knitted beret is the way to go for you. This is a super cute look for any hair length, but works best with short or tucked away hair.

2) Beanies

The fitted beanie/skull cap look is best suited for long, sleek hair (trust me, curly hair just looks funny under this look) so proceed with caution. Go for a monotone color palette like Nicky Hilton to add a chic edge to this punky accessory.

3) Knitted Newsboy:

The knitted newsboy cap is the undisputed winner of winter hat looks. Fun and chic at the same time, this look works with fancy trenches and simple sweaters. With a sleek pony tale, this look tops off any outfit for instant style.

Snag a knitted newsboy cap a la Gwen with this cute hat from Alison Beth:
