Audio Chi headphones make a terrific and unique holiday gift for the music lover in your life. People are used to listening with “earbuds” that are all but disposable, and have forgotten just how amazing sound quality can be with a pair of really good headphones. Not only that, but Audio Chi headphones avoid that “stereo nerd” look you might expect from substantial headphones. The headbands are quilted for comfort, and the covers for the ear pieces are like works of art. You can really express a sense of style with these headphones.

The Audio Chi W2, like all Audio Chi W series headphones, detachable woven cords to avoid the common problem of damage between the earpiece and the cable. With chrome details and romantic artwork finish on the ear pieces, the music lover in your life will feel like you chose these wonderful headphones just for her. $109.95 from audiochi.com

The Audio Chi W7 makes its style statement in rich bronze, and like the other Audio Chi headphones, has tangle-free, removable cables, and most of all, superior sound quality, with Audio Chi’s Structural Acoustics technology for studio quality sound in a smaller, more wearable style. $109.95 from audiochi.com.

Audio Chi’s W5 has a bold, graphic design and all the great features you expect from Audio Chi headphones. Titanium-coated mylar drivers, and Supra-Aural sound positioning mean that great style does not conflict with great sound. $109.95 from audiochi.com.
This year, transcend the ordinary when it comes to holiday gifts. Give Audio Chi headphones and give the gift of beautiful music year round.

Pierre Hardy has been quietly influencing shoe design for a couple of decades now. The quiet French designer has worked for Christian Dior, Hermes, and Balenciaga before going it on his own. He once told the Independent in London that when he designs shoes, he tries to envision what a girl walking into a shop would love to find there. So far, the approach has worked: his shoes are coveted by the wealthy and the typical high street shopper alike.
Unfortunately, the average high street shopper would have a hard time affording a gorgeous pair of shoes from one of Pierre Hardy’s boutiques. However, in a stroke of brilliance, Hardy has teamed up with that quintessentially American supplier of affordable clothing, The Gap, to bring the masses versions of his shoes that are more affordable.
Two of his designs include these boots that are so chic and gorgeous that you’ll wear them from now until next spring, and you’ll be sad when the weather finally gets too warm for boot wearing. Here’s an ankle boot in a dark sand color that goes with everything.

Don’t they just totally inspire confidence? Can’t you see yourself demanding (and getting) a raise while wearing these? They’re simply divine.

You can also get it in a mid-calf shearling version in a steely gray that will actually make you wish for weather cold enough to wear them in:
Found your winter boots, have you? Excellent choice!

As if you need any new additions to your “Shoes I Must Have NOW” list, the latest invasion of sexy footwear is more flirty than ever. Lace details, cut-outs, and overlays are popping up everywhere, in both high-end and affordable brands, from demure J. Crew ballet flats to seriously fierce peep-toe booties by Stuart Weitzman. While lace and leather may more commonly conjure up visions of risque lingerie, and let’s face it — those see-through excuses for lace pants are better suited as a doily than on an actual person (unless you’re Lady GaGa), lace-embellished shoes are hot because they bring a certain sexiness without making you feel exposed. Christopher Kane’s runway look is now available to anyone who has access to TopShop, thanks to a daring and edgy collection that has the fashion world abuzz.

Kane’s much anticipated line for TopShop went on sale September 18, and enthusiastic shoppers have raved about the pieces, which are sexy and feminine without being innocent looking or “girly,” as can be seen in the one shoulder lace dress pictured.

As you can see, they’re both quite snugly fitted, so be prepared. One of the most popular pieces in the collection is the “alligator print” dress you see below. There’s nothing subtle or demure about it, meaning you will be looked at if you wear this.

Even the undergarments make a fearless style statement as you can see in the high-waisted, grommeted panties pictured above.

And if you need a handbag to go with the panties, or just to look edgy yet frankly feminine, check out the studded, fringed, chain handled bag pictured above.

And where would your outfit be without these shoes, perfectly coordinated with every look pictured here, including the eye-grabbing mini-dress pictured below.

It’s no wonder this collection is all the rage, both in TopShop’s London home and in New York.

When Manolo Blahnik uses words like “exquisite, “divine,” and “perfect” to describe your shoe designs, you know you’re on the up and up (and not just in terms of heel height). That’s exactly where designer Julia Lundsten is going with her line Finsk. Launched in 2004, her collection of crazy designs and quirky, sculptural heels has her dubbed as the Eames of footwear. While attending London’s Royal College of Art she won the prestigious Manolo Blahnik Award 2 years in a row. Her inspiration from architecture and furniture is visible in the details of her shoes. Her love of furniture design extends to her way of thinking too — considering the heel and the sole as the chair’s legs and the upper as the seat, her shoes always seem to cradle the foot perfectly. With an unconventional style, the pumps, ankle booties, and boots all feature heels hand-carved from sustainable hard woods from Brazil. If that doesn’t get you walking tall, I don’t know what will!

Anyone who lived through the 80s has cringe-inducing photos documenting the looks of the time: aggressive hair, giant shoulder pads, overly dramatic makeup … But there are some designers out there who are reinterpreting some of the good stuff from the 80s: the originality, the boldness, and the frank sexiness.

Emilio Pucci Dresses
A good place to start is with this Patchwork Cap-Sleeve dress by Emilio Pucci. Sure, Pucci may be best known for bright, abstract prints, but here the swirly aesthetic is put to use dramatically in shades of black, with solid and transparent patches. It gives a whole new definition to “patchwork.” Length is just under 20 inches from natural waistline. $1,860.00

Kate Spade Sandals
Kate Spade is an expert at knowing just how far to push a trend so as to maximize the use of her pieces in your wardrobe. These Kate Spade Women’s Glamour Sandals are no exception. The sexy T strap lengthens the leg, while grosgrain ribbon laces through the chain strap. Suede uppers. $299.00

Rebecca Minkoff Handbags
There was a certain tough-girl chic in the 80s that was expressed through bold, dark make-up and the use of studded leather. Rebecca Minkoff brings back the studded leather in the Stud Devote Tote. It is a black leather handbag with rings, gold studs, and a belted top. Closure is magnetic and the inside lining is tan and blue striped. It has two open pockets and one zip pocket inside. A roomy 17 x 11 x 7.5 inches, with a 31 inch adjustable strap, the tote is $695.00
