Expert Eco-Fashion Source From New Designer Kate D’Arcy of Toggery

Environmental crisis? Economic crisis? Kate D’Arcy knows that it’s difficult for fashionistas to make the sacrifice to buy sustainable, organic clothing, but this 28 year-old fashionista is making it easy with Toggery by Kate D’Arcy, a line of eco-friendly tops and dresses that is recessionista-friendly as well, with retails ranging from $32-$150.

Launched in Fall 2007, Toggery by Kate D’Arcy uses certified organic cotton, bamboo, and modal (made from recycled beechwood) for fashion-forward, flattering clothing in bold colors.

Kim Raver, Eva Mendes and Sarah Jessica Parker are all fans of the collection.

Kate D’Arcy is not your typical eco-friendly clothing designer. As a former personal shopper and stylist who can often be found wearing Christian Louboutin’s and vintage Chanel, Kate wanted to create a collection that filled important voids in the modern woman’s closet that were both affordable and sustainable. She is an expert on integrating eco-fashion into a high fashion wardrobe, and can offer advice on the things to look for when buying organic clothing such as fibers, dying techniques and sourcing practices.

The collection features staple layering tanks, fashion tops, throw-on contemporary dresses, and seasonal coats and jackets. Toggery by Kate D’Arcy pieces provide the perfect palette for today’s hottest accessories!
