As the Spring 2008 NY fashion week comes to a close, I give you the Monique Lhuillier collection. Utterly fabulous.

In the first part of the show, cream colored frocks dominated the runway, then dusty blue, grey, black and white dresses also came out to play. The only prints present were polka dots and all of her colors were muted, making the cuts and fabris really pop on this runway.

While some designers create designs with odd assymetrical shoulder straps or overly bulbous bubble skirts, Lhuillier managed to remain creative without creating something no one in the real world would wear. This line is fit for a modern day princess and is just begging to be taken down a red carpet.

Hope you all enjoyed fashion week as much as I did…before we know it, Fall 2008 fashion week will be here. See you then!
