Jason Wu Fall RTW 2011
When you talk about people from corporate world, you have to talk about the dress code. And when it comes to what they wear, you have to talk about blazers. You don’t have to search hard to find someone who has to don a blazer all seven days a week. Of course, you can find single breasted, double-breasted, big lapel, ¾ sleeves, small lapel, and some others as well, but again, wearing them all through the week is quite boring. Unless of course, you follow the latest trend, which is wear a white tuxedo blazer in place of the usual grey, dark, and navy variety.
Stella McCartney Fall RTW 2011
Stella McCartney and Jason Wu have set the trend on the Fall/winter 2011 runway. They have managed to make the statement that the white tuxedo blazer is no longer restricted to swanky holiday parties and hot summer nights; it can always find a place in your everyday autumn wardrobe. One good example is of model Candice Swanepoel who sported the trend and came out wearing slim fitting tuxedo style suit; the full white color made Candice to shine on the red carpet.
However, if you think doing it Candice’s way is not something you can do at the office, you may do it the way Anne Hathaway has done it – she paired her white tuxedo blazer with a beautiful pair of black trousers. You may also want to experiment a bit by wearing pointy toe pumps. So, when are you going to get your full white tuxedo blazer?
