Sensuous and alluring, a foulard tightly knotted defines the figure, either in tone on tone fading colour or with a floral contrast. The contemporary appeal of beige and flesh tones, from powder pink to pearly pink. Evening dresses in rose tints resplendent with seed pearls, embroidery and the gleam of minute crystals that emphasise the figure. Low heel shoes impart a non assertive femininity, a sense of understatement transforms a pair of trousers and a tank top into an outfit of quiet sophistication, when teamed with a magnificent necklace of jet and black stones. Even the hats and bags – lacquered, embroidered and embellished – look as precious as jewels.

Now this is more like it!

Agreed. The bags and shoes are great, along with some of the outfits. However, what I am not feeling and what I hope does not become next year’s hottest trends are those hats, the in-your-face cleavage, and the “bind your arms” scarves. Sorry.
