I Adore Matt & Nat

1 Comment 28 February 2011

Matt & Nat is a Canadian designer of fashion accessories that are both beautiful and socially responsible. Founder and Creative Director Inder Bedi, a vegetarian, designs cutting-edge products that are made with compassion. Matt & Nat products do not use animal by-products and all products are made with at least one recycled component. The lining of one bag recycles on average 21 plastic bottles! Here are three of our favorites.

The Matt & Nat Holly Khaki vegan leather bag comes in a great neutral olive khaki color and has tone-on-tone stitching and antique brass hardware. With it’s “flap and snap” closure, the bag also has a zip pocket in back, and pockets for your phone and PDA as well as a zip pocket inside.

The Cognac bag is a gorgeous, rich brown bag with antique brass hardware and detailing. With two hand / shoulder straps, it features a zip top closure and is lined in recycled faux suede. Inside are pockets for your phone and PDA, plus another zippered compartment.

The Hendrix bag is the perfect black wristlet, with tone-on-tone stitching and brass detailing. It also comes with a shoulder strap so you can wear it as a shoulder bag too. It has a flap and snap closure and an interior zip pocket, and makes the perfect petite evening bag with an edge.
