The hot look of the moment for footwear has to be boots. Tucked into jeans or paired with a mini skirt, they are THE Hollywood accessory of the season. Whether they are beat up old cowboy boots or knee high heels, no girl should consider herself dressed without them.

Why you ask? Well, boots signify the changing of the seasons. Strappy sandals are cute, but not in subfreezing weather. Boots add a little flair, while still being sensible, and can go from uptown and urban to free spirited bohemian.

Best Pick: Metallic Riding Boot from Prada
Definitely a “wish list” item, these boots have it all – simple lines of a cowboy boot and a mid-calf cut in a hue that will already go with your great metallic summer pieces. Perfect paired with jeans and a gold weave belt or a flowy boho dress.

Word to the wise; wear your boots right. Don’t pair them with too big clothes, and buy them the right size so that your calves don’t spill out over the top.
