New York Fashion Week catered to a resounding noise as the start of the Spring 2011 fashion trends surfaced and made its way to the runway showing off the best and the most stylistic couture’s of the season. The Summer/Spring 2011 collections from top designers were modeled with prestige grace and elegance. New York City life came to a stop as the fashion world came to life. With a combination of extravagance and minimalism at its most wondrous and perfect blend of pure soft and gentle subtle feeling of comfort and ease.

Oscar de la Renta

Fashion trends played with subtle colors and floral designs. Oscar de la Renta presented his designs with floral graphics and styles, combining mixtures of bright green, yellow, red and neutral colors.

Ralph Lauren

On the other hand, Ralph Lauren collections for the Spring 2011 fashion week were western inspired with dominant white neutral color outfits. From cowgirl leather jackets to white blouses and chic shorts that creates an aura of a fresh and free spirited look. Ralph Lauren explored on the boundaries of rusty feel of the western aura and combining it with a feminine touch and lighter look with soft and delicate flow of silky white color.

Some designers decided to re create the bohemian style and so such fashion trends re-surfaced with cotton and colorful knitted skirts as the makings of the fabric. The styles in the runway ranged from flowy to see through skirts that creates a sensual touch to the entire Spring 2011 experience.
