Stay Warm with Knit Accessories by Kove

0 Comments 22 December 2010

Kove is the name of the Etsy shop of designer Kyla Leslie and is full of gorgeous crochet and knit accessories inspired by the Canadian northwest. Because of the changeable climate in the region, layering is a must, and it’s important to keep shawls, scarves, and shrugs handy. Kove’s offerings can be worn many different ways and are beautiful as well as functional.

The  Pacific Cowl is a substantial cowl scarf made from a wool-acrylic blend with a ribbed wave pattern. This is a slouchy, non-fitted cowl, so it’s extra cozy and comfortable. It can be worn scrunched or folded around the neck, or pulled up tall to protect the face and hair, and it goes from winter through spring effortlessly.

The Sequoia Wrap is part of Kove’s Forest Collection and is inspired by the Canadian west coast’s rainforests. The knitted pattern reflects the texture of the leaves and needles on the trees and that carpet the forest floor. Made from a super soft wool and acrylic blend, with a chunky, openwork texture, this wrap is warm without being heavy or bulky. It closes with two handmade tree branch buttons. You can order it in a range of colors and know that it will add style and warmth to a sweater-and-jeans outfit or an evening-out dress.
