Hits & Misses On The Red Carpet At The 2009 SAG Awards!

Posted on 27 January 2009 by Jacqueline H

It was another night of fashion and glam! As we watched all the stars walk the Red Carpet at the 2009 SAG Awards! But who was a ‘hit’ and who was a ‘miss’? Let’s find out!

HIT! – The Queen of the SAG Awards arrives to claim her victory! Both on the Red Carpet, and with her Statuette. She looked stunning in this blue and purple gown. Perfectly fitted to her very feminine curves. You go girl! We love you!

HIT & MISS - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may be ‘Hollywood Royalty’. But it doesn’t mean that you have to be so casual! They are the hottest couple out there! And they seemed a little ‘under dressed’ in my opinion. Brad where’s your tie? And Angie you are so beautiful, but why so drab darling? Our favorite couple could of glamed it up just a little for the SAG Awards. And really worked it!

HIT – Benjamin Button’s Taraji P. Henson looked fabulous in this perfectly accented white gown. Great looking hair and make-up. Very glam my dear and new wave Hollywood style!

HIT & MISS! – Christina Applegate looks stunning in this bright green ensemble. But the way the dress hangs, doesn’t give her the look she needs.

HIT!The Closer’s Kyra Sedgwick looked chic and classic in her Chanel gown. The contrast of white and black, with that very glamorous hair and jewelry. Made Kyra a hit!

MISS! – With the success of Milk, Sean Penn and his wife, Robin Wright Penn, have a lot of things to celebrate this awards season. But both being in black with their demeanor. Makes it look like the mob just came out to dinner. Sorry folks, but a miss here.

HIT! - I loved Terri Hatcher! To me she looked high couture, and hot off the runway chic. In her beautifully sculpted white gown. Bravo my dear!

MISS! – America Ferrera looked more Ugly Betty than glam in this very complicated looking ensemble.

HIT! – Emily Blunt looked chic and lovely in this silvery art deco gown! This complemented her beautiful waist line.

MISS! - Since when is way too much cleavage ok these days? We saw you trying not to have an accident with your two best friends my dear! Some advice for 30 Rock’s Jane Krakowski – get some ‘pasties’ to keep that dress closer to the skin.

How to Hide a Baby Bump Like a Celeb

Posted on 29 October 2007 by Angelique

In Hollywood, it’s hard to keep a big secret like having a little one on the way! Especially in our society where every inch of a celeb’s waistline is constantly scrutinized. They all seem to be so secretive about it too, and can you blame them? It used to be bad luck to announce a baby before the third month, and it’s an emotional time for anyone.

Luckily for you future moms-to-be, you’ve got some A-listers out there showing you how to rock it pregs style. Whether you want to keep an in-law guessing or just don’t want to wear your typical maternity-style clothes, check out these looks for inspiration:

Trapeze tops and dresses are numero uno with these ladies, and can you blame them? It’s a super cute look whether you have a bun in the oven or not. They keep their trapeze tops and dresses from looking more “hot mama” and less “muumuu” by adding cute accessories, shoes, bags and hot hair and makeup.

If you’re expecting a little bundle of joy, take a tip from some of these celeb mom’s-to-be and dress like you are fabulous…and not just like you are expecting!
