Fergie and Josh Duhamel

The December 2009 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine features an interview with singer Fergie, who is set to star in an upcoming movie musical titled Nine. In the interview she said her husband, Josh Duhamel, didn’t mind when she added a little poundage to her normally tight body for the movie. Duhamel enjoyed “the extra meat to grab,” she told Cosmo. “He’s never been critical,” she added.

That interview was conducted long before allegations that surfaced this week that Duhamel has cheated on his wife. Both Duhamel’s and Fergie’s spokespeople have called the claims, by an Atlanta stripper, “ridiculous” and were seen being affectionate at dinner in Atlanta this week.

In the story, which appeared in Us Weekly, Nicole Forrester, a 34-year-old mom of two, claimed on a radio show that she and Duhamel had “lots of sex” at the St. Regis hotel after he visited the Tattletale club where she works. Duhamel is in Atlanta working on the movie Life as We Know It. She claimed that he watched a porn movie with her before hooking up. He did not pay her for sex, she claimed, but did give her $100 for cab fare.

Fergie is scheduled to go to Paris next week to do promotional appearances with her band, the Black Eyed Peas. -Josh

Black Eyed Peas frontwoman Fergie is the latest high-profile name to join Avon’s growing cast of celebrities, reports today’s Women’s Wear Daily.  “I love the roster of women Avon has supported,” she told the paper.  “Each one is completely different, but they are all wonderful, strong women who have a purpose. It was very important to me to bring what I have to the table. I’m a bit more rock ’n’ roll than some of the other artists, and Avon has really allowed my personality to come through.”  The yet-to-be named women’s fragrance, which will be available next year through Avon sales representatives, is scheduled to launch overseas beginning in the third quarter, followed by the U.S. next fall.

Q:  Will hot pink lips be trendy for spring/summer of 2009?

A: Hmmm…that’s a tough one Shara. Hot pink lips were trendy in the spring of ‘07, and are making huge waves now (Rihanna is always softening her edgy look with hot pink lips), so it’s hard to say. If you are itching to try a hot pink trend, I would do it now, at the tail end of summer and before winter sets in. Check out your local pharmacy and grab a few different hot pink shades to see what works best with your skin tone. You can work a hot pink lip right now in a very fierce way with a smoky eye and a sleek but chic ensemble.

My most favorite hot pink lip gloss is no longer available (the MAC Fafi edition…so perfectly punk), but you can still snap up some great pink shades from MAC. For a very high fashion look, go for a paler hot pink like Wonderstruck or Ensign from MAC:
