Chase Crawford
Last weekend Gossip Girl hunk and People Magazine’s hottest bachelor Chace Crawford flew 15 of his high school and college buddies from Dallas to New York for his 24th birthday party. Some of his newer friends were in attendance, too, including actors Toby Hemingway and Sebastian Stan. But it gets better: all of them then flew from NYC out to Watermill, New York, where they stayed at a private home for the weekend-long bash.
Festivities included barbecuing, eating and drinking, with meals cooked by a private chef. Games and swimming were also on the agenda. Not only that, they chartered a speedboat and did some kayaking too.
Back in the city, there was a slight bummer in the making. Crawford moved out of the apartment he shared with Ed Westwick, his Gossip Girl co-star. The two rented the apartment together when they first moved to New York after being cast in the series. Crawford, who is set to star in a remake of the 80s movie Footloose moved into a rented penthouse apartment in the Dwell 95 building in the financial district.
Sources say that Crawford was Felix Ungar to Westwick’s Oscar Madison in this 21st century Odd Couple situation. In other words, Crawford couldn’t take the mess any longer and moved out, perhaps to save the two’s friendship.
