After having split up a few weeks ago, singer John Mayer and Jennifer Anniston appear to be still feeling the pain. On a fan cruise to Mexico, Mayer debuted one of the new tracks for his upcoming CD Battle Studies. On-board the Mayercraft Carrier 2, fans listened to the new song featuring lyrics like, “Drop his name, push it in and twist the knife again; Watch my face as I pretend to feel no pain, pain, pain.”

The track, titled “Heartbreak Warfare” doesn’t mention Aniston by name, but in the YouTube audio clip, Mayer tells the crowd of 3,000, “Sometimes instead of saying ‘I love you,’ people can’t recognize that. They recognize how much you come to their aid when they are in pain.”

Meanwhile, Jennifer Aniston wasn’t in any great mood either as she started work on her upcoming film The Baster, in which she stars with Jason Bateman. While shooting in Greenwich Village, Aniston kept to herself during breaks from work, and was said to hold up filming the first day to make sure her hair was blow-dried correctly.
