You’ll cut a cool figure this summer with a feather-light silk dress and big movie star sunglasses. Add a pair of gorgeous platform sandals and a bag classic enough to wear all year, and you’ve got yourself a great look.

Start with this Dolce Vita print V-neck silk dress in a summery print. It has a leather drawstring waist tie, with wood bead and feather details. Flutter sleeves are elbow length. Made of silk jersey, this dress measures 39 inches from center back. This luxe Bohemian dress is $341.00

Everybody needs a stunning pair of sunglasses for the bright days of summer. These “Peace” sunglasses by Juicy Couture feature cool gradient lenses and an enamel inlaid peace sign detail at the temples. The right temple tip also has a cutout heart detail. Frames are 5.5 inches wide and 2.25 inches high. Cleaning cloth and case are included for $98.00

A great summer outfit is a good enough reason to buy this gorgeous pebble leather shoulder bag from Bulga. It’s not only beautiful in a slouchy, relaxed way, it’s also functional, with a zip pocket, front flap pocket with magnetic snap, and room for your stuff, too. Double straps and lined interior with zip pocket and two patch pockets. Dimensions are 14”H x 16”L x 5” D. $495.00

Platform sandals are like little pedestals you carry around to present your fabulous self with every step. These Jaron Platform Sandals are suede (They’ll be perfect for Indian Summer in September or October!), and have a buckle ankle strap. The platform is ¾” snake-embossed leather. Heels are 4.5” snake embossed leather, with leather soles. $170.00

I love the fall! As it is a really fun time to get your hats on! Now if you already have a nice selection of hats. Then it won’t be too much for you to add a few more hats to your collection. Or if you don’t have any at all for the season change. I have made some wonderful suggestions for you. From the top we have the classic Burberry hat. In their classic signature check pattern which retails at $146.25. You can buy this classic British hat from any of your local Nordstrom, Saks or Nieman Marcus locations. Or even specialty designer boutiques will carry most designer lines such as Burberry. Remember to add that classic Burberry scarf to the mix! Two of of my other choices are both hats from the Juicy Couture collection. Again very functional and fun, these hats are affordable and also look great. Go for the classic wool beret which a nice bow detail. Or stay casual with their skull caps, which are a designer bargain at only $55.00. Match that up with their scarves and gloves. You will be looking Juicy Couture in no time. And to finish this round of hats. I chose Missoni as my last pick. Fun, functional and always colorful. A Missoni Intarsia-patterned hat in knit wool blend, will fit the ticket for all you colorful fashionistas out there.

Fall Fashion is upon us ladies, and from what I’ve seen, there’s a lot to be excited about. While some tried and true looks are making an appearance (hello tartan plaids and tweeds!), this falls’ styles leave a little more room for creativity. Some of our favorite looks:
Winter Garden

Michael Kors
This season, florals aren’t just for spring…dark purples, navy, brown and gray floral patterns are showing up on dresses and silky tops alike. Textures like feathers and furs (faux, of course) give dimension to this look in a non-bulky way. Look for “winter floral” coats with fur collars, silky floral print top and feathered accents to create this look.
Superhero Worship

Roberto Cavalli
Leave your capelets and swords of power at home…were talking futuristic lines and superhero inspired details for fall. Look for fiercely detailed shoulders, in-your-face belts, and sci-fi inspired looks to create this haute style.
Country Life

Juicy Couture
Classic and super sexy, the “country life” look is all about structure and menswear-done-right. Plaid fitted vests, nubby jackets and equestrian detailing help to create this perfect fall style.
Lousy economy got your wallet filled with moths? Resurrect some pieces from last season and transition them into fall without breaking the bank. Turn your favorite spring floral dresses into a “winter garden” style by pairing it with dark textured tights and a belted cardigan. “Country Life” more your speed? Bust out your old flannel from 1996 (or just borrow your dads’) and top it off with a fitted vest and skinny jeans.
