We all have one; a bra fit horror story sure to create embarrassing flashbacks of spillage, back fat and overflowing cleavage. A bra can be your best friend or your enemy, and it all depends on fit. But short of trying on every type of foundation in the lingerie store, how will you know what works best for you?
If you are constantly battling shoulder-digging straps, half-empty cups or flattened boobs, then you have to check out Macy’s Fit Matters guide. This online tutorial is designed to help women of every shape find the most comfortable and flattering bra for them. Their Perfecting Performance guide answers any question you could think of, and even helps you identify some you may not. For example, one of the suggestions is to see if you are wearing your bra correctly…it may sound silly, but an adjustment here or there may make a world of difference.
So we ask you…what’s your bra fit horror story? Overflowing cups in an ill-fitting bridesmaids dress? Straps always showing under your favorite tank top? Let us know your biggest bra blunder and check out Macy’s Fit Matters for ways to correct and perfect your bra wardrobe.

Maidenform “One Fabulous Fit” Front Close Bra, $30
Is it possible to find a great fitting bra that looks great as well? Some say no, but Macy’s is out to prove the skeptics wrong. You don’t have to wear matronly brassieres to get the support you need, but you do need to shop around. You could shop at a trendy lingerie store to get something pretty, but lets face it…it may not fit the best. You could shop at a foundations store and get the perfect fitting bra, but it may look more practical than pretty. Or you could check out Macy’s and get the best of both worlds at a price tag that won’t hurt your wallet.
Macy’s carries brands like Maidenform that marry comfort and style to give you the level of support you need without looking like a strapped-in mummy. It is possible to find feminine details and eye-catching colors in a bra without having to spend a fortune. Whether you go into your local Macy’s and get fitted or just check out their online tutorials, Macy’s can help you find the best bra’s for your body.
Right now Macy’s is hosting their “Fit Matters” event, where you can save a ton on the foundations that keep you looking good. You can get buy two, get one free deals and even free shipping on orders of $60 or more. Check out Macy’s Lingerie to see what they have in your size and style and trust us…go for the lace.

Sometimes we get so caught up with what’s on the outside that our foundations get ignored…a fact that I’m totally guilty of. Our bodies change so much over time that the same bra we wore only 2 years ago may not fit the same any more.
For me, I’ve recently lost a bit of weight, and of course the first place for it to go was in my bra. I have huge gaping spaces now where my cups once runneth over. I honestly don’t even know what to look for in shopping for a new bra!
I’m also a little shy when it comes to strangers touching my body, so I’m not too jazzed about going to a special lingerie store and getting fitted. Lucky for me, Macy’s has a great tutorial to help me find the rigiht bra for my shape and for an ensemble. Whether you are looking for something to go under a plunging v-neck, or simply some alluring lingerie for when the lights go out, Macy’s can guide you to the right bra for you.
The right fitting undergarments can help you stand taller, look sleeker and give you more support in ways you could never imagine. And lets face it…new undies are fun! Check out Bra Fit 101 at macys.com now, and toss out those ancient and ill fitting bras already!

Rachel Bilson (source)
What’s your dream wardrobe like? Well, if you’ve ever wondered what essential pieces Rachel Bilson counts on, then look no further than Edie Rose. Bilson’s new line for DKNY encompasses all of the “must-have” pieces that you need. In fact, it’s kind of fool-proof…all of the pieces in her collection fit seamlessly into any wardrobe so that you can create a variety of ensembles.

Edie Rose for DKNY (source)
Some of my favorite looks from this collection are the denim pencil dress and the tuxedo jacket. Yellow is a big theme in this collection, which seems a little late to me considering yellow was so big in the spring time. Red patent accents and dark denim are also staples, creating a look that is one part American girl-next-door and one part fashionista chic.
You can try to purchase some of these items right now at DKNY but unfortch most everything is selling out. Also, if you can’t squeeze into juniors sizing, then this collection isn’t for you. I have a feeling that we will be seing this collection at Macy’s in the near future (note the Macy’s ads behind Bilson above) so you may not have to scour eBay and pay twice as much for her wares as they are worth after all.
If there is one thing that you can take away from Bilson’s collection, then it is that everyone needs a few structured pieces in their wardrobe. A great shift dress, white button down and skinny jean is a must for every woman of every age. While there is nothing ground breaking about this collection (gee, another young actress turned designer?), at least it isn’t a collection entirely of overpriced leggings. Hooray for Hollywood!
What do you think of Rachel Bilson’s new line Edie Rose? Drop us a line!
