Three Summer Dresses that will Turn Heads

Posted on 07 July 2009 by Angelique

A pretty summer dress does more than make you appropriately dressed for work, dinner, or drinks, but it also keeps you cooler than trousers or skirt suits. These three beautifully draped summer dresses are comfortable, and do a great job of sugar coating any problem areas you may have in the waist, hips, or thighs.

Ralph Lauren Dresses

First, this ‘Malina’ Ruffle Halter Dress from Lauren by Ralph Lauren has a gold-tone chain that gives it instant glamour, while the keyhole opening gives it a sexy, slightly retro vibe. A few well placed ruffles up the femininity factor even more. Made of Rayon/polyester, this dress measures 40 inches to hem from center front. $112.90

Jersey Dresses

Finally, any dress from Max Azria is made to look unapologetically feminine, and this Liquid Jersey Draped Dress is no exception. It features an asymmetrically draped neckline and a contrast band at the left shoulder. The hem is also asymmetrical and the dress measures 47.5 inches from shoulder to hem. On sale for $154.80 (regularly $258.00)

Trends & Shopping – Shop Miss Sixty For October

Posted on 21 October 2008 by Jacqueline H

Miss Sixty is a really hip, cool, and trendy brand to shop at. I actually really enjoyed looking at their online store. They have a lot to choose from. From cute jeans and denim skirts. Gloves and bags, to really trendy little dresses to boot. I love the way they designed their online store for easy access and buying. I chose a few of my faves from the site above. For their easy looks and trends right now. Their prices are really good too. For a more inexpensive designer brand. That ranges in the $45-$400 range. I would recommend these styles as your every day trends. With your jeans for comfort, the denim skirt instead of the jean. The cool grey dress – with pockets! And gloves are essential for the up and coming cooler months. Mix and match the styles. And what especially can look good. Is the grey dress with the jean. And of course the essential parker top to wear with anything. Try this brand at your leisure – and most of all – have fun!
