I loved the Monique Lhuillier Fall 2009 collection. She channeled the "Modern Ballet Russe," as she called it. The collection--shown in the Oak Room at the Plaza Hotel - which was chock-full of the glamorous eveningwear that Ms. Lhuillier is known for. Gorgeous, gorgeous gowns that reflected our modern era. With a futuristic touch.
