Hits & Misses On The Red Carpet At The 2009 SAG Awards!

Posted on 27 January 2009 by Jacqueline H

It was another night of fashion and glam! As we watched all the stars walk the Red Carpet at the 2009 SAG Awards! But who was a ‘hit’ and who was a ‘miss’? Let’s find out!

HIT! – The Queen of the SAG Awards arrives to claim her victory! Both on the Red Carpet, and with her Statuette. She looked stunning in this blue and purple gown. Perfectly fitted to her very feminine curves. You go girl! We love you!

HIT & MISS - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may be ‘Hollywood Royalty’. But it doesn’t mean that you have to be so casual! They are the hottest couple out there! And they seemed a little ‘under dressed’ in my opinion. Brad where’s your tie? And Angie you are so beautiful, but why so drab darling? Our favorite couple could of glamed it up just a little for the SAG Awards. And really worked it!

HIT – Benjamin Button’s Taraji P. Henson looked fabulous in this perfectly accented white gown. Great looking hair and make-up. Very glam my dear and new wave Hollywood style!

HIT & MISS! – Christina Applegate looks stunning in this bright green ensemble. But the way the dress hangs, doesn’t give her the look she needs.

HIT!The Closer’s Kyra Sedgwick looked chic and classic in her Chanel gown. The contrast of white and black, with that very glamorous hair and jewelry. Made Kyra a hit!

MISS! – With the success of Milk, Sean Penn and his wife, Robin Wright Penn, have a lot of things to celebrate this awards season. But both being in black with their demeanor. Makes it look like the mob just came out to dinner. Sorry folks, but a miss here.

HIT! - I loved Terri Hatcher! To me she looked high couture, and hot off the runway chic. In her beautifully sculpted white gown. Bravo my dear!

MISS! – America Ferrera looked more Ugly Betty than glam in this very complicated looking ensemble.

HIT! – Emily Blunt looked chic and lovely in this silvery art deco gown! This complemented her beautiful waist line.

MISS! - Since when is way too much cleavage ok these days? We saw you trying not to have an accident with your two best friends my dear! Some advice for 30 Rock’s Jane Krakowski – get some ‘pasties’ to keep that dress closer to the skin.

Post Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet Fashions! The ‘Best’ & ‘Worst’ Dressed!

Posted on 14 January 2009 by Jacqueline H

Best Dressed! Belles of the ball at the 66th Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet!

Kate Winslet – Was by sure the ‘belle of the ball’ at the Golden Globes. Winning two awards that night!

The night’s big winner, Kate Winslet, ruled the red carpet in a stunning black strapless Yves St. Laurent gown and Chopard jewels. You are my winner too! Just stunning!

Kate Beckinsale landed on this year’s Best Dressed list by wearing a white fashion-forward J. Mendel mermaid gown and exquisite chandelier earrings. Kate you top the list as ‘The Best Dressed Woman’ at the Golden Globes!

“Doubt” costar Viola Davis arrived at the star-studded fete in a flattering floor-length dress and a freshly-cropped coif.

“Closer” cutie Kyra Sedgwick sizzled in a scarlet Oscar de la Renta masterpiece!

A bootylicious Beyonce sported a sequined Elie Saab frock and a breathtaking platinum-and-diamond Lorraine Schwartz necklace.

Eva Mendes wowed the crowd in a daring white Dior dress, turquoise necklace, and chic updo.

Eva Longoria looked simply ravishing in a red Reem Acra mermaid dress and delicious Verdura earrings.

The Worst Dressed – and who should of got off the Red Carpet!

Cameron Diaz’s Pepto abysmal Chanel Haute Couture frock and loose locks failed to impress on the red carpet. Yucky! Just awful!

Glenn Close terrified the masses in a gaudy gold blazer and mismatched metallic trousers. What was she thinking? This isn’t an event at the local retirement home Glenn – you could of looked sharper. No disclosure for ‘Damages’ here!

Miley Cyrus missed the mark in this age-inappropriate Marchesa mess and hair extensions. Wasn’t it past your bed time anyway?

Maggie Gyllenhaal should be caged for choosing this animal print atrocity from Lanvin’s latest line. To be honest I believe that she was on the bottom of the list as ‘The Worst Dressed Woman’ that evening. Just gastly! Please Maggie get a better stylist! You need it – desperately. No more fashion blunders for you girl! We can’t take the embarrassment for you anymore!
