Victoria Beckham is doing a voiceover role for Spongebob Square Pants in an hour-long episode that will air sometime in the summer of 2009.

The former Spice Girl and current mother of three boys was apparently encouraged by her 4-year-old son Cruz, who is a big fan of Spongebob.

Reports have it that Beckham was so good at doing the voiceover work that she may take on additional roles in the future.

Beckham will play the role of a British princess, which was written especially for her. Producers say she was a natural, and that she enjoyed the work very much.

Beckham is also busy taking Italian lessons, as a way to help husband David settle in Italy, where he plays football for AC Milan. Plus, speaking Italian would allow her to be able to talk to Italians like Dolce & Gabbana in their own language.

But that’s not all going on in Beckham’s life. At a recent launch of her newest fragrance in New York City, Beckham was photographed wearing thigh high platform dominatrix boots, and holding on to husband Dave Beckham to keep from tipping over.
