UNIQLO +J Autumn/Winter Launch

0 Comments 14 October 2010

Today hosts the launch of UNIQLO’s eagerly anticipated autumn/winter +J collection. The suspense has been electric with excited fans blogging and tweeting about Jil Sander’s latest designs across the Internet.

From its inception one year ago the +J collection has evolved. The success of her latest fashion creations is clearly evident from last week’s New York launch of the +J collection where crowds of people queued up outside UNIQLO’s Soho store. Despite the rain, the crowds continued to grow throughout the day, proving once again that Jil Sander’s utilitarian yet carefully detailed, classic designs partnered with UNIQLO’s affordable prices have met the demands of the discerning populous.

Set to be her strongest collection to date, the autumn/winter 2010 collection consists of approximately 150 men’s and women’s clothing garments designed with a typically minimalist focus. Coloured with a muted palette of arctic blues and tempestuous greys, the clothing still offers the opportunity for individual style and personal uniform.

Exploring the territory between couture and sportswear, +J clothing’s heavy emphasis on the silhouette boasts a flattering fit and gracious movement, featuring sculpted shapes and tailored detailing with an element of purity about them.

Featuring fine wool, cashmere, flannel and beautiful felt coats, with the finest of tailoring and the iconic +J classic white shirt, designs have been made with both women’s and men’s clothing ideals as a forefront priority.

With the Jil Sander collection only available from selected UK stores (311 Oxford Street, Westfield London, Selfridges London and Bluewater Kent) and UNIQLO’s UK website, crowds of people are expected to flood the stores and saturate the website in attempts to get their hands on some of the season’s hottest trends.
