Unique Leggings for Fall

1 Comment 23 November 2010

Leggings come in more styles than ever this fall, giving you lots of options for casual days and fun gatherings. Here are a few favorites.

ThreeAsFour makes these amazing new leggings that are actually more like jewelry for your legs. They’re black pieced sheer mesh with metallic silver cutouts that twist seductively around the leg. You probably don’t want to go with just a tunic with these: make sure you wear an actual mini-dress or skirt, or else you might look half-dressed.

Gentle Fawn makes acid wash denim leggings in grey with asymmetric seam detailing on both legs. Chunky platform heels work well under this look, and you’ll want a short dress, or perhaps an asymmetric tunic on top. Any color should work great with this neutral grey.

The  LnA Ripped Zipper Leggings, as seen on celebrities like Audrina Patridge, are what leggings back in the 80s wish they could have been! Partial rip detailing throughout, plus the signature gold zippers make these the perfect leggings to go with either a short leather trench, or a long and sweet white ruffled tunic. Footwear should be one extreme or another: chunky and bold or sweet ballerina flats.

If you’re looking for a great all-around pair of shoes to go with your winter leggings, have a look at these ankle boots by ASOS TIMBER Suede Padded Collar Lace Up Boots. Featuring a panelled design, piping to the trims and padded cuff, with a pointed toe, cleated sole and cone heel. They were made for the leggings look.
