There have been rumors lately that Victoria and David Beckham plan to leave Los Angeles and head back to Great Britain. However, Beckham recently told the press that nothing of the kind is planned. The former pop singer turned clothing designer and her handsome football star husband plan to stay in L.A. for the time being.
She told E! Online, “We love living here and we have no plans to move back to the UK.” She was attending the BritWeek 2010 Charity Do in Beverly Hills at the Beverly Wilshire hotel. She reported that her three young sons, Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz, have made a lot of friends in America and David really enjoys living in the US.
At the time, David was hobbling around at home, recovering from a knee injury and overseeing the children’s homework. He was also, despite the possibility of missing this season due to injury, named by Forbes magazine as soccer’s highest earner. The owner of Beckham’s team, the L.A. Galaxy, comes in at ninth richest. Since signing with the Galaxy at the beginning of 2007, he has earned $138 million. Of that, over $100 million has been from endorsements. In 2009 he earned an estimated $40 million. His main endorsement deals are with Giorgio Armani, Motorola, Sharpie, and Adidas.
