Anna Sui, labeled as the ‘Boho Queen’, has met everyone’s expectations with her new distinctive line of patterned tights for her Fall Winter 2010 Collection that was launched during the New York Fashion Week. She has collaborated with Leg Resource in featuring female prints, metallic and graphic patterns on nylons or thinly-knitted tights.

Her set of hosieries introduce clever features of a trompe l’oeil in green and black nylons along with matching patterns imitating knee socks. Crazy prints are also featured in a pair of black florals and nude pink that are patterned at the top to look like thigh highs that resembles girly tattoos.

This line speaks of an edgier end compared to the autumn hosiery trends of other designers, ranging from the girlish ankle socks of Rachel Comey and Marc Jacobs and the solid thigh-high leg warmers made by Alexander Wang. According to Anna Sui, her Fall Winter 2010 Collection of hosiery is ‘her protest against the computer age’ as she aims to emphasize creations that are solely made by human hands.

If you are ready to sport Anna Sui’s wildly patterned tights, then you can purchase them by August from major department stores, specialty retailers and the Anna Sui NYC Store with a price range of $20 to $40.
