The Latest Trends in Women’s Yoga Apparel and Accessories

As someone who has been practicing yoga for a long time, I am often asked which yoga gear I prefer to use. As many of you will know, getting the most out of yoga sessions is dependent on feeling comfortable. There is nothing worse than getting half-way through a routine and having to stop because of the discomfort caused by a pair of new yoga bottoms or a useless mat.

Over the years, I have gone through my fair share of yoga tops and bottoms, yoga mats and yoga blocks. I have learned a lot about which products and brands work the best for me. There is not much that I do not know when it comes to yoga equipment, and now I am going to share my knowledge with you.

Yoga Tops

Of all the yoga tops that I have owned and used down the years, my undisputed favorite is the one that I currently have from Icyzone Yoga Tops. It is just so comfortable to wear! It has an open back and is made of Dri-FIT material that keeps you cool throughout the session. Not only that, but it also has a built-in padded sports bra to give you all the support you could possibly ask for. All in all, a fantastic top!

Yoga Bottoms

Without a doubt, the best and most comfortable pair of yoga bottoms that I have owned were my Gaiam yoga bottoms. They seemed to fit my body type amazingly well and keep you perfectly dry during an intense yoga session. Gaiam yoga bottoms are incredibly versatile and can be used for other forms of exercise as well as yoga, including jogging and gym workouts. Unfortunately, I misplaced my previous pair and have not yet replaced them (you know what to get me for my birthday now).

Yoga Mat

Yoga Mats

Having a good yoga mat that you are familiar with can make or break a yoga session. I recently borrowed an amazing mat from a friend which I just loved from Lulu Lemon mats. It was made from polyurethane which gave a cushioned yet firm feel that I have not seen before in other yoga mats. It is also reversible and has a textured grip to help you hold your pose even when sweaty.

Yoga Blocks

For those of you who are looking for some new yoga blocks, I can’t recommend Manduka yoga blocks highly enough. They are available in premium high-density cork which is incredibly sturdy as well as being highly absorbent. Its natural feel definitely has the edge over synthetic blocks I have used in the past. I do not think I would choose any other block in future now that I have sampled the comfort and feel of Manduka.

Well, there you have it. This list of my favorite yoga gear will help you look and feel the part, keeping you comfortable and dry during your next yoga retreat. All that is left now is to wish you luck on your way to yoga mastery.
